More counterfeit Bucks on Ebay!

"-Nothing made in China is superior to anything made in America."

I don't necessarily disagree with that statement, but YOU are becoming more and more obvious with every post.

Maybe I can clarify that statement with my own. Most all things made in CHINA are CRAP! I hope my statement is crystal clear & obvious! I wouldn't buy a real Buck knife made in China.

That's your option and I agree with your right to that. We've gotten completely off track about the counterfeits. The fact is, there have been several listings for these knives and the only seller that I remember that was from China was this one. He's also the only one to state that they were made in China.

I can't see someone trying to shift the blame to the buyer.

In this case it does!

Yes, and that's the point of this thread, a counterfeit, not whether or not an unsuspecting, non-Buck expert buyer should suspect it's a phony.

Check Buck's catalogs and see how many are made in China. Suppose a person buys a Sandman, Bantam or Trapper that says "made in China", should He/she should know or expect it to be a phony?? BS.

If it's made in China, it's made in China. It's not phony, it's just not sanctioned by Buck.

Now where in the hell do you get that idea?? Are you saying the ones that are outsourced to China by Buck aren't sanctioned by them??:confused:

Of course the one I showed isn't sanctioned by Buck but not because of the "made in China" label, but because it isn't one that is "sanctioned" by them.

I just got an e-mail from Joe thanking me for sending the link and saying that he had forwarded it to the legal dept. for action. I know for a fact that they shut down one seller who was selling counterfeit Buck tee shirts.

Whether they are sanctioned by Buck to be made in China or not, they are still made in China. Either way, they are not Buck knives, but Chinese knives wearing a Buck logo.

Wrong.

If they are sanctioned by Buck, they are Buck knives made in China, period.

Don't you think you've taken your little tantrum far enough now?

:D

It's good to report these to Buck.

They'll pop up again, but they deserve all the trouble we can give them and they do feel the pain of having to start over each time......if we can cause them some pain, by God, we should!

Well, it worked this time as far as having them listed as Buck's. They were relisted this way:

Now, if Joe and Buck do the same as they did with the tee shirt seller, they can make this go away too.

By your logic, all the Buck slippies made by Schrade/Camillus in past years aren't Bucks either. I suspect 300Bucks will be interested in hearing that.:p

I've reported him again. Even though he removed the name Buck from the listing, he's still selling counterfeits and knows it.

A Buck "Damask Steel Floding Knife!!!"

I've been looking for one of those for YEARS!!!

:D
