I had a really hard time parting with this one, but it is off to Marcelo. You lucky dog......I nearly didn't tell him about this one, and kept it for myself :D

If you notice a touch different grind on this one. It is still a 1/8" knife, but I have decided to back my grind off to 12.5 degrees per side. It is still scary sharp, but my tests with this grind angle has been very good.

Black liners, and someone else previously mentioned might look good. I agree!

JRE hooked me up on some very nice dangler and non-dangler sheaths.

OMG! C'mon now! Good for Marcelo....bad for me. hehehehe

Side question: where did you get that coat you were wearing in the snow shelter pics?

Brian, didn't Marcelo tell you? He wanted you to ship that knife to me as my Christmas gift. He is a great guy isn't he.

That is a beautiful knife man.

That’s a sweet knife Brian.

Toward perfection!!!:D
The only thing wrong with it is that it's not mine!:(

Really, really great job. I especially like the angle you put on the scales as they approach the blade.

MUHUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG - COFF, COFF, COFF

Great work Brian. That one is gorgeous.

Congrats to you and Marcelo. You've both scored with that one.

So??? Marcelo, are you gonna bring that up on Saturday the 10th?? :D

I think backing off your grind is a good idea - I think 1/8th inch knives can suffer from weak blade profile at the tip if the grind is too shallow.

Fantastic work Brian! Thie birch and the black liners are just the

I showed my wife this knife and said "I might as well sell all my knifemaking equipment and just buy one from this guy and a few others and call it quits!"

She talked me into keeping my stuff, so I guess I'm gonna have to use you as my "bushcrafter" role model! :D -Matt-

Wow, Brian that is really a great looking bushcrafter! Great score Marcelo...happy holidays! You'd better watch out Brian, you might have to go into hiding if you keep knocking out perfection like this:thumbup:
