More defiling of the sacred.

Great regrind FortyTwo! I totally agree w/ the geometry issues that scandi's inherently have... but if you start questioning the "traditional thinking" woe be unto you! lol keep up the good work

Heeheehee I'm willing to throw myself under the bus for the sake of progress! :D

I've never understood the fanaticism behind the Mora. Good for a cheap knife, but certainly not the end-all be-all of knives.

Same. I love 'em, but I don't put them on a pedestal. They are what they are. Great price:performance ratio, but that doesn't mean that the performance couldn't be improved! :)

For EDC and kitchen duty, I find that scandi's don't preform well. I am in the process on redoing one of my moras, thanks to your inspiration. It is not really flat yet. More of a thin convex but it is getting there.

You'll love it. Post pictures and impressions when you're done! :D

we are having fun with that grinder of yours..............

It is so much satisfying being a heratic

The primary grind is 6.3° included angle, so 3.15° per side. The spine is its original thickness.

Thank you for the reply. In the pic it looked like the spine had been thinned just forward of the handle. Regards,
