Hey,

The 6" thick pine targets I have been throwing at last about 3 days.
Does anyone have any suggestions for targets that more durable yet still allow the hawk to stick properly ?

Thanks

Call your local power company, landscaper or tree service and ask them to keep the tree rounds for you. They should last you a whole lot longer than the planks. I've also seen some nice ones done with end grain 6 x 6 blocks all glued up and framed together. Check out this for some other ideas too - http://throwzini.com/outdoor_targets.html

Thanks for the response.

The stuff I've been throwing at are the pine rounds, 6" thick.

I'll check out that link.

I took 2 x 4 cedar and put them together on edge making a 30 x 30 target 3 1/2" thick.
