I think the EB-LT Striders are one of the most understated in the Strider line. It is gaining popularity in the tactical world for good reason! It is a great knife/sheath set up. I thought everyone might like to see a few more pictures of mine.

My next purchase is the Safariland holster/sheath rig from Strider. Latley I have been thinking a lot about how to carry both my EB-LT and my H&K 45 Compact, together. I think I found my answer in that Safariland rig that Mick showed in the other thread.

In this last picture you can see how the choil portion on the EB-LT is out of the sheath, upon drawing the knife you hand locks into this and the spine ridges, it provides a super secure grip in reverse or regular grip. At first I was wondering why the G-10 sticks out on the edges but once you grip it you know why!
The EB-LT is quickly becoming my favorite knife!

Yeah, Nice.... I like your EBLT. Might just be my next purchase. The other thing I like about it is that you can get a trainer for it. I actully have the trainer (EBLT) as well as 2 of the regular cord wrap trainers. Really like them.

In this last picture you can see how the choil portion on the EB-LT is out of the sheath, upon drawing the knife you hand locks into this and the spine ridges

So if I read this right, your index finger is in the choil and your middle finger is in the handle cut-out? Interesting...Seems like you would have a secure grip by loose a little reach.

It can be drawn either way. With your finger in the choil portion it is a stout blade, the other way does extend your reach, its a nice feature to be able to grip it in either version. Most of the time I carry in reverse grip, sharp edge out, and it draws to the normal grip with no fingers in the choil portion.
