This one is damn near flat to the stone. The CBTs are all but gone.

I am not done yet. I want to reconture the handle some and get rid of some hot spots. There are still two rough spots on the edge you can feel with your finger nail. So I am going back to 1500 grit until its perfect.

Next i think I will tape off the edge at the for CBT line and bead blast the entire knife. Should give it a nice double cut look. The knife is already quite sharp and I think once it is done It will be my best work so far.

I just love Hell razors.....

pics are amazing.

wow!!!!!!!!

We gotta switch #'s ./

I posted this before but I don't think anyone took notice, so I'll say it again.

I got a CGFBM form JAB that he put a working convex edge on, in other words it wasn't thinned much at all. As many people know I'm not one for thin edges on hard use knives and all fixed blades are hard use knives:D... well unless they are used in a kitchen.

Anyway, that CGFBM push cuts through paper like a Spyderco ZDP Jess Horn.

This guy can put an edge on a knife
.

Ohhhh man, you've really brought out the RAZOR in that Hell Razor.
Nice work. :D:thumbup:

Thanks everybody.... Thats high praise Tony. :D

Superb work, JAB.

And I thought the last edge you put on it was the upper limit of sharpness.

Good stuff.

That look incredible. It makes my fingers hurt and curl up protectively just thinking about it!

I woke up this morning and all my finger tips were sore. It seems I ground away the bulk of the skin on my finger tips from guideing the blade on the superfine paper. I remember seeing some blood mixed in the water when I was sharpening and could not see a actual cut.

It hurts to type.

wow, that looks awesome as is... can't wait to see the finished product!

Yeah, I've seen your kitchen knife, .220 INFI, zero grind edge, It's real dainty

:D

That looks awesomely sharp. I do have a question though. Does such extreme sharpening were the Bevels are actually ground off void the warrant? I wouldnt think it would but I was curious.

Interesting thought. I suppose it could. On the other hand the bevel is not ground off just blended in. The original edge is nearly intact believe it or not.

Here is another thought. The Busse warranty is of very little use to me. The knives do not have defects in worksmanship or defective parts. I use my knives for things knives should be used for. I do not expect to ever have to use the Busse warranty. In fact I am 100 percent sure I will never need the Busse warranty.

So if the Boss man were to drop into this thread and Say...Jim you jerk! You have voided the warranty on that knife... I would just chuckle and smile.
This knife needs no warranty...period.

Now I did this on the Razor because I wanted to make the knife more specialized towards a pure fighter. I wanted one of those Zoro kind of knives that I could with just a flick of my wrist slice the dress off of Catharin Zeta Jones in a angry fight turned suddenly with out warning to passion.

This is now such a knife.

The only kind of knives that stay sharp in this world is any knife in the hands of someone like JAB..
My salute goes to you.
