More fakes

Auction reported. It's the best you can do. Be vigilant, guys. There's a whole forum dedicated to spotting knockoffs on rolexforums.com.

Extrema Ratio is having a huge problem with Knock-Off knives so beware if you are going to buy one. I would stick with a dealer you can trust.

the man in the pic is not the maker of those fake things, his is just a knife nut. i know it.
;)

Not so much the maker, but possibly the person selling them on ebay?

I wish the translation from babelfish was better. the forum is actually very interesting to read, even with the poor translation.

Fair enough

If the information was readily apparent through the babelfish translator I wouldn't hesitate to post regarding the seller, but I'd rather leave it up to Jerry if he wants to delve farther into it. It's not really my fight, and if the information couldn't be utilized by jerry it wouldn't do any good posting it here.

the info you gathered here , is useless, man.
China is not the member of World Intellectual Property Organization. you and Jerry can not suite those guys .
normally the fakes as you have metioned here , do not harm the origional makers or manufactruers, cause the prices of those fake things are very low , about $5-50.

but the behavior of Plagiarism is shameful , in yangjiang ,Guangdong provence where is the largest knife making center in china ,the blade factories copied almost all famous brands .

Dingy makes a good point....anybody who thinks they can get a mofo for under 75$$ deserves it!! They list the steal as something im not familiar with...is that another name for INFI or a cheap steal???

I might disagree on that point. Some of these fakes will end up in the hands of people who think they have the real brand name knife. And when it performs like crap, those people will blame that brand name.

I just look a look at this listing, and one thing is certain!
These guys aren't from around here. LOL
The following is hard to read, and impossible to interpret:
The second signature shank design: Talon Hole (eagle hole), refers to the guard and tail hook on the hole. This is designed to install guard ring rope, tied one end of the rope knife last hole, the other end of bolt holes in the guard, surrounded by the formation of eagle-like, something to prevent the cutting knife disposed of, than directly to the tail rope on the wrist more security, but also more convenient. There is also easy on the knife made of spears tied Chang Gun.

The talon hole is a signature design built into the gaurd.

It's used to create d-gaurd that will protect the hand from sharp objects like thorns and for the instalment of a wrist strap that will keep the knife from flying out of your hand while chopping.

There is also easy on the knife made of spears tied Chang Gun.

It can also be used to attach the knife to a pole as a spear point.

it's all about reading the nouns and verbs as associative, not as literal. you lose a lot in the translation, but you can get a rough description of what they meant...

I would suggest two monsters are at play here:

One would be the manufacturers of fake blades. The manufacturers of these fakes could almost be rendered harmless if the blades never made it here and they were sold as "replicas" only.

Second would be whomever is selling them as the real deal. It would seem they are disassociated from the manufacturer.

However you slice it, I hope the replicas continue to be fairly crappy, because if they start doing quality work, some real issues ARE going to arise.

Scary stuff no matter how you slice it (pun sort-of intended).

Shocked it's still there. Almost 12 hours and no removal yet. Hmmmm.

I did post a question: "Is this the Busse knife that was featured on the SuperTerrific Happy Hour? Take off every 'zig' for great justice."

I can only hope he responds publicly before the auction is pulled.

It's a shame they don't ban the seller at this point. Same one both instances? Sounds like banning time to me.
