More Fiddlebacks Done - Deep breath, Blade Show prep starts next!!!

Wow those are very sweet looking...especially the cocobolo/osage combo...that one is a real winner!

Looking good Andy! I really like the multi position pin placement you have going on in some of those.

I need a tutorial in how the multi-pin thing is done - looks like a nightmare to me! How do you get all the holes to line up?! Heck, I need a tutorial on how to do all of it.

Hey Andy - email sent.

chanring - yep it is a pain! Not that I am that experienced but my brother and I went up to the Bark River grind in event and made our own this winter and he did a couple rows of 1/8" pins I believe they were. Turned out nice but it was pretty frustrating for awhile!

That even gave me a whole new respect for what goes into these handles!

That blue terasaur is a thing of beauty. Nice work!

Thanks!!! I love that blue stuff.

Thanks Bladz. Increases the glue surface and allows hold down closer to the blade handle junction!!!

Its really not hard at all. I actually like using them way better than corby's. They're easier to finish because they sand down to the level of the surface of the handle, rather than sanding proud, and having to be flushed to the surface. Plus, no polishing metal. Plus, I like em a lot, and I think they'll hold the front of the handle down even better.

Really like both of those Recluse models. $?

Base price is $180. I charge $25 to put on the Burlap.

I would absolutely love to tip a beer with you at Blade Show Kismet!

I could see them working and finishing easier, especially over the corby's or the loveless bolts. We just had a challenge getting everything to line up but like I mentioned it was our 1st attempt and it did end up turning out pretty awesome!

Andy,

That Arete looks almost exactly the same dimensions as my Arete - what is the difference? Did Rotte ask for something a little different?

TF

No. The Scales are a bit slimmer. I forgot about Jack's big hands.
