I finished these paring knives about a month ago. There are actually three of them. I went to visit my aunts and uncles down south and gave each household one of them. Comments welcomed.

Steel: Aldo's 1095 (1/8")
Handle: Faux Ivory
Pins: 316SS (two showing, one hidden)
Finish: 800X

Very nice of you. Very nice looking knives as well. You can call me uncle if you want.;)

Those look great, I bet the scales will have a great looking contrast when a patina forms.

Thanks folks!

Robert,

The handle material is a faux ivory material. It is used in the medical industry for replacement bone etc.

Very nice man! Do you mind sharing where you got the faux ivory? Ive seen it before, but never anything that looked like that. Yours looks almost like it has a little gray in it, maybe it's just the lighting. I really like the way it looks though.

As long as you're giving them away, I would love a set of matched for 8.

Really....really!, nice knives. The handles have great ergonomics for kitchen use. Everything is crisp and clean.

Sir, if you decide to make more and sell them I could use one. My wife and I just moved to Seward, NE and are having to start over again after losing everything to mold and mildew damage in a dump we lived in Arkansas. It would be nice to get some new kitchen stuff and I think it would cheer my wife up! Thanks

Thanks everybody.

Hengelo_77, you have a point. I should get some stamps in other sizes.

ron, PM me. I'm trying to get through some orders at the moment but we can talk. I can't say more than that here at my membership level.

Looks awesome, love the size shape of the blade and handle. I like how the handle is thin closet to the blade and gets thicker as you go out, nice secure fit. 👍
