Now thats how you compliment someone!! Nice!

oh man.. those all look great Andy... i love those Snubnose's.. and those scandi bushboot's are bad ass...

Man, I wish I didn't really dislike working with g-10. Its perty stuff.

The Hunter with the cocobolo handle is amazing I am sure the picture does not do the knife justice.
Thanks,
Michael

Outstanding work as always Andy. I especially love the Bushboots and Kardas.

It's always interesting when I learn something about myself I didn't know. The Snubnoses are not exactly my usual type of knife...but in seeing it I really like that design. All of these are beautiful executions.

I've always loved your work Andy but there are some in this batch that really take the breath away. Amazing stuff.

Andy these are awesome man! You gonna put any of these up or are they all accounted for already?

Hey Michael, if you'd like, you are welcome to ride up to the GA Guild meeting with myself and Dylan on the 7th.

I've been lurking more than posting lately. The knives are coming somewhat slowly at the moment. No home shop and only devoting 30 minute lunch breaks here and there make it drag out. I have my first slip joint blade and spring profiled out of some CPM154. It is a relatively original design with a somewhat Nessmuk-ish blade shape (maybe a little pointy to hold that title, but that was the inspiration anyway.

I'm building a file guide now before I put in the bevels. I did most of the work on the guide yesterday. I need to tap two holes, heat treat it and then I should be ready to proceed. My goal is to have the blade bevels ground, blade and spring heat treated and the liners profiled this week. After that, I'll need to build a jig for measuring the rise and fall of the spring in the closed, half stop and open positions.

Even though I'm probably only 25% done with it, this slip joint has been a tremendous learning experience. I've learned many lessons that I hope to apply to the next one. Once I get to where I can make one worth selling, I'd like to design one based on one of my all time favorites, your bushboot pattern. I might even try to twist your arm into beveling some blades with your convex sabre grind:cool:

It is good to see you doing well with Knives Ship Free and the AG Russell orders. I need to do some clearing in the yard, so I'm looking forward to the availability of your machetes. Obviously, I was disappointed that I couldn't make it to Blade this year. Sounds like you guys had a great time.
