MORE -How to get funny looks from fellow hikers

No prob, Doc. It still looks like a helluva trap.
I hope you like your BK9 as much as I love mine. I stippled the handle and then slipped a piece of bicycle innertube over it. It improved the grip quite a bit. I wish like hell that the sheath was as awesome as the Eagle Systems one with my RC-5...but, alas. I'll make do and shut up.

Living vicariously through you guys has made me realize one thing: My hiatus from the woods has been too long (divorce being the big reason). I have to get back out there and get my hands, knives, and axe dirty.

Hey KEmSAT, I haven't had the 9 very long, but it seems like a really nice knife. The grips are a bit slippery, though, as you say. I don't know if I'm going to do the inner tube thing or get micarta scales. Of course, it's not going to knock my Machax out of my pack any time soon. As far as the sheath goes, it serves my purpose, although it would be primarily a pack knife.

I hope you get everything straightened away so you can get out and play soon.

Oh - wonderful Doc - Now I have to call PETSA. Stuffed animals should NOT be mocked and treated this way!!!!

Oh. Well hell - time and a half - that seems fair.

PETSA will be happy their people are getting fair pay. I bet the off screen buffet is good too.

Let me know if you need any stand in's Doc. My kids have a few Stuffed Animals they volunteered.
