100 percent agreeI love Spyderco's K390, full stop. However ... I don't love lock backs and I don't love FRN scales. Could we please get a K390 knife with G10, micarta, or Ti scales in something that isn't a lock back? Thank you!
I'm in, for that!!!That steel needs DLC, badly
Why? Dlc doesn't offer corrosion protection. That steel needs DLC, badly
It weirdly does and doesn't. I can tell you that I still see the effects of carbon steel being carbon steel on my GF's EDC, sometimes IWB, M4 Sage 5, with DLC. It isn't as though it's perfect. But it does something....differently, that some may find a "cleaner" look. Yeah, it is not going to help if you throw the knife in the sink for an hour, like, it doesn't keep the knife safe. Why? Dlc doesn't offer corrosion protection.
Super Blue, works Great, on k390! I did my ladybugs in it. Comes out black and wears to a grey. That steel needs DLC, badly
