More Leather -- Old School Busse Content

Eli,

Your leather work keeps getting better! They look awesome man!

Looks great. I really like the set up. I need a shoulder rig for my fbmle.

I have considered purchasing a basic leather working tool kit to get started. ( I almost bought the whole kydex set up, with arbor press, dies, sheath press etc a couple years ago, and have regretted not doing it, since I spent the money on crap anyway). I have my first hand made knife (that I made out of 5160 and some hand files), that I hardened and tempered. When I am done with my bar exam crap in a few weeks, I am going to finish the handle, and figure out how to get started making a sheath.

I wish all the Busse crew lived close together. There is a lot of talent here I would like to tap (by tap, I mean I come over and you show me how you do it, I try to learn, and I provide you with a cold tasty beverage for the effort). (had a plan for years to go learn from my uncle who made knives professionally, Glen Hornby) but he died about the time I graduated from high school, before I had a chance.

I have had an invite by two pro knife makers to come to their shop and learn. I would like to take them up on it, given some free time.

Bro, I would definitely take them up on it --- that sounds way more fun than bending leather :D
