Here are some nicely colored O.D. green mammoth ivory scales and some red ones. Many have no cracks and no voids, none of them have any fill. It is best to let them acclimate to your climate before using, a month or two would be fine. I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal and naturally colored, happiness is guaranteed, if you find you can't use it when you get it in your hands, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The prices shown will be plus shipping, I ship using USPS flat rate shipping where I can, I ship anywhere it is legal and charge only the actual shipping charges. Deer like most cloven hoofed animals usually don't require much hoof care, but in confinement and with a lack of hard/rocky ground to wear the hooves down trimming would be neccisary. Now throw in that Santa's Reindeer don't spend much time on the ground and there is your case that the big man would need to be prepared to take care of his animals :) Happy holidays all!

Hoof knife:) I thought you had written hook knife which is called the "krumkniv" which is the traditional reindeer hunting knife of the Sami which is designed to quickly dispatch reindeer!!
