These creations are made by me. The blades are from Jantz spply.
Thin stock (about 1/16")440 C ss is HT'd to about 58-59. They are corrosion resistant, take a nice edge easily & hold it fairly well.I made the handles a thickness you would find on professional restaraunt knives. They afford good grip, and your hand will fatigue less this way.The scales are "bookmarked"and cut from the same block. The chef has brass corby bolts, the parers have nickle silver pins. The fronts of the scales ,where they meet the blade, are sealed with epoxy. Oil finish on the wood, the scale choices are wood that does not need to be stabilized. I really like the feel of the oil finish,it's grippier when wet.
Prices will include shipping Con U.S.
The chef will be priority, the parers first class, unless you purchase more than one,I'll go Priority, ore if you wish to pay more I'll ship prioriity (about three bucks more)
Paypal fee's are included
First the chef,it has an Eppy wood handle. This stuff is not the prettiest ,but it is like steel & will last and take punishment
12.25" OAL
7-3/4" blade with 7.5" cutting edge
$85.
Looking at the bottom of the handle....
and top....
This knife is anice all around size, will be a unique kitchen knife,a slicer
