Those must be some pretty big pockets to fit three golf balls and a knife comfortably. Anyway if it was comfortable enough for you then I see no real problems with it. Just keep in mind that anytime you are taking out a golf ball to make sure you don't accidentally pull out the knife too. Also be aware that if you have anything more in the poclet you run the risk of scratching the knife, whether that is an issue you will need to decide for yourself. To me a few scratches on a knife is no big deal, as I buy my knives to use and scratches are part of the deal.
