More Porch Generosity. Thank you, ED.

Tremendous selection there, the altruism shines through:cool: The Texas Jack is a large knife not to be confused with the Texas Small Jack, its smaller cousin. But, I thought everything was BIG in Texas:D
Screw construction has been around since the c19th remember, it just depends on HOW they are used and on WHAT;) The Waynorth Cutlery LF is the best Lamb Foot made for a very long time indeed, benchmark stuff as is Ed's generosity:thumbsup:

I realize that, it's just my own bias towards not showing them on the main Traditional Forum.

Sorry about that John. I didn't remember/realize that you didn't like "modern traditionals". It would be ok with me if you passed that over to your son - the new generation - and when time permits I could send you another knife that would be old style so to speak.

In an overwhelming display of generosity, Modoc ED Modoc ED sent me a gift package. I'll let the knives he included speak to how generous the gesture really is (it's incredible). I am overwhelmed and so grateful to have a friend like ED. I am now especially elated to own one of Charlie's Lambsfoot Knives. When ED found out I passed up buying one because of a limited budget during the Summer months, he gifted me his sample. That's just crazy generous and thoughtful. The other knives are equally generous and I can't even begin to describe how well-built the Case Texas Jack is, it's a tank!. And check out the amazing deep jigging on the Back Pocket! I also hope you will all forgive me for breaking my own pet peeve while I include the Plow Knife. Even though I am personally against including pictures of knives with torx screw construction (my own bias), I couldn't leave it out of the picture. Suffice it to say that you will see me carrying it and posting pictures of it in the proper thread in the future. Lastly, it's incredible to have his Bull Nose with the D-Ring. I still remember him posting pictures of it and thinking what a great idea that was. Ed, you are a shining example of all that is good on The porch. I can't thank you enough and I will enjoy them all. Please, all of you, help me thank ED for showing us that the world is not full of flippers and profiteers, there are plenty of good people left in the knife community. Thank you ED.:thumbsup:

Worthy of a prince!! Both of you!!!

Oh no, don't get me wrong... I actually like some modern-ized traditional knives, I just don't like to post them in the main forum.
I really like the Plow and I have a couple of other modern-ized traditional knives that I carry frequently. It's staying with me.:thumbsup:
