More Q´s on Buck/Mayo collaboration knife

Good to hear from you Mr. Buck.

Will there be enough for all of us?

That is... I have been hearing rumors that they are "limited" like the BG-42 Buck/Striders?

Also, I don't know if anyone answered this earlier... but is it tip-up, tip-down, or movable?

I want one now :eek:

If its not a TNT what else - SNT ?

As the blade will be S30V instead of Talonite would it make sense to call it the SNT model ? Did saw that name for a S30V original Mayo but not shure if it was a joke or serious - the original model number of 172 doesn´t do this knife justice as a description IMO.

No question about that - PERIOD !

But as there are more in the pipeline we will need something AFTER that Mayo/Buck thing - like the Mayo/Buck 172, TNT, SNT whatever ...

You know what's weird...

The Buck + Strider collaboration was the "Buck/Strider".

I wonder why it sounds right to call this the "Mayo/Buck" rather than the "Buck/Mayo".

Well, if they are just different sizes then we have a small Mayo/Buck(MB), and probably a large MB. Different bladeshapes can be handled the same way.

I dont know though that Tom would want the production version to have a part of the name the same with his custom. People might get confused.
 
Is on the drawing board, ready to go to the great people at the Buck Factory; I think it looks as good as the TNT and hopefully will be just as successful. :)
 
I pulled rank today and snatched one of the finest knives we have ever made. It is totally sweet, and light and slim and sharp. The perfect knife that you don't even feel until you need it and it materializes in your hand...

I am sitting here looking at this knife and feeling totally proud of my crew...
