Awesome pics Mist. Do you know what kind of flowers those red ones are?

Thanks man. Nope, not yet.

Great stuff Mist, that travelling man necker has a great profile to it. Just needs a few scratches and wearmarks to make it handsome! I don't really understand the gearpods and its contents. Is it an esbit stove or something more than that? Trying to clue into your comments about a shelter system.

Thanks Ken. Yeah, it's got a few scratches now...

The gear pod is much more than an esbit stove, the one I have is a 3 pod system which has the survival and fir kit you see here in one pod, a shelter in another, and a first aid kit in another that all screw together. I'll post more pics and the lists of contents when I get in tonight.

Awesome pics Mist.....Those fruit trees are coming along nicely.

Thanks Jake, hopefully I'll get to east some of it later this summer. There is a lot of competition for it up there though.

Great shots MW. What were you using for a camera? I absolutely love snakes. I cant say why, but I have dug them since I was a kid (and that is a long time ago). Thanx brutha.

You should of grabbed some of that Sassafrass for tea!

Beautiful snake!

Thank you, I'm pretty sure all of these were shot with a Nikon 3000. I don't have a thing for snakes any more so than any other animal, but Rattlers in the open don't worry me. The copper heads and cotton mouths here can be unpredictable but I like watching and photographing all of them when the opportunities arise.

Great pictures and I always look forward to your posts.

Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed them, and glad you like the posts.

Another GREAT set of photos Bro

Thanks for taking the time

Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed them.

Thanks Tony, glad you liked them.

I thought about it, but was busy so just made a mental note of an area where there were a lot of young ones that would be easy to pull up.

It definitely had some beautiful markings. I only just learned how endangered the timber rattler is becoming in some areas. I was glad to get a chance to see that one, I hadn't seen one in person in several years.
