More than Grapenuts

Was thinking of Euell Gibbons today and searched for books by him and there are many on gathering wild foods. I don't see his name mentioned often so I have ordered a few of his books , meanwhile I would enjoy hearing some in put from other members who have had experince with his teachings.

I love his stuff! I have all of his readilly available work, and some of the hard-to-find stuff too.

Normark's recent post asks about cattails - Gibbon's book has many pages about uses for cattails calling the chapter 'Supermarket of the Swamps'. I've had his books for years and they make handy and informative reference books !
