you get to see a glimpse of my face. its my 10 sec of fame. i was going to do an introduction and say "now get redy to get dirty" :D. "im jarod and this is my job" because my new one has not started yet :).

ok i made a web page that has all the videos listed. you can book mark it because i will be adding lots and lots of videos. here it is, its just basic but will look like the rest of my site when im done.

www.jtcustomknives.com/videos.htm

keep an eye for more videos. thanks every one.

nice vids! the third doesnt work for me, maybe i will try again later.

its not everyday that you get to run somebody with a grinder over :D

I haven't seen the last 3 vid but you might want to compress those a little. As popular as these will be you will generate a lot of bandwidth.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, much appreciated.

i have 3000 GB of bandwidth each month. if i need more no problem. i would rather have people see good quality than me skimp on bandwidth.

JT; I learn every day and u added to my know how today.
thanks and waiting on more.

I had trouble with the first vid.

I think that you could still compress the videos, without loosing much quality. Windows Movie Maker does a quick and easy job at compressing the video too.

Thanks for the videos Jarod!!!!!
Aint you got a band saw?? You need to get one, it'll pay for itself in belts and grinding time asap!! When you get one, buy Ellis Manufaturer blades, I used em and, no bs, they just would not stop cutting! Plus the folks at Ellis are great people and will weld the blades up for you to your size.

well i have a porta band but it does not have very much power. its old and worn out. im saving up to get a milwaky porta band, there nice.

JT - the videos are great, but I have a question for you. What did you use to draw/transfer the knife design to the steel? Whatever it was looked like it held up pretty well.

its a photo copy of my master drawing that i atached to the steel with spray adhisive. i then coat the paper with minwax wood hardener twice to three times. let try between coats. i havent had any problems so far with it rubbing off. but everyone has there own way to do things.
