more ways to make fire

i just saw this vid and instantly thought of posting it here. I dont know how many have heard/seen/tried this before but i think i will. it seems to solve the problem of having to file magnesium in the bush and also have an ulta-lightweight/easy way to make fire. all that is needed along w/ it is a ferrorod. anyways these are my thoughts, what are yours?

Pretty cool, but how do you actually put it out when you are done? I would probably make a real fat braided one for some "Ooomph".

You can place it under water. The same thing you do with those trick candles that you can buy from any novelty store. I bought them for my kids birthday parties. They would blow them out and they would relight. Great fun when the kids were little.
