The amount of recyclables in my household finally reached critical mass. Something had to be done about it. This fact, coupled with a few new arrivals, necessitated some waste processing.
A bit of foreshadowing:
Death Row:
2x4's, plywood, recyclables, a phone book...I got a lot done today. Videos will be forthcoming.
As far as the idea for cutting a 2x4 in half in one hit is concerned...it will be difficult. The best I've managed so far is three hits. (This wound up breaking the sawhorses supporting the 2x4, by the way. The AK got some use as a hammer.) I will keep trying. Perhaps someone else (Shiva Ki?) will have better luck with this.
Jeb's theory of inverted seax thrusting may finally be justified. I got creative this time.
The "Bowie Backslash" took me longer than 1/32 of a second to perform; perhaps if I was a New Orleans duellist or a specwar operator I'd have the proper training to do it more quickly.
As the target detached from its line and nearly took out my camcorder, I only attempted it once.
The Tulwar received another thrashing and passed with flying colors. The EK received its first and also performed as expected.
My shoes are soaking wet and smell faintly of beer and soda. I wish they sold tatami around here.
