Yes, they came with a kydex sheath. David charges $50 for them.

About the number: Maybe they were made from the same sheet of damascus?

I guess it is time to explain the numbers on the keys. I try to make 12 to the batch. I number the knives 1-12. The sheathes are also numbered 1-12. The number eventually gets cut off the sheath. I found out early on that it was no fun to have 12 knives laying on the bench whith 12 sheathes and try fitting until I got them matched up as the sheathes are formed to each individual knife.

Thanks for the explanation. BTW you might try a small improvement (at least I would like to have i)]. IMO the sheath could be slightly longer and have hole and a key ring too (or just the hole). Then it would be up to the user to attach the knife either with the sheath or the knife itself....
Anyway, I am looking forward to my third key
