More ZT Emerson collaborations? Other ZT Collaborations?

Hey BF,

I was wondering, does anybody know if there are any new ZT Emerson collaborations? Or the possibility of them? I noticed there are more models of the Kershaw Emerson collaboration, and I was hoping they would bring some of those models made with the quality of the ZT production. Like I love the Kershaw CQC-9K blade shape and would be amazing if a ZT model version was made of that knife, or the Emerson CQC-15. I would love if Zero Tolerance started to make more military based knives again. I would also love it if ZT made a model of the 0562 in blackwash with the same traction as the 0560 series. What new collaboration or improved model of a current collaboration would you like to see Zero tolerance make?

The ZT 630 is a fantastic Emerson knife. I will say, I'm not a fan of the thumb disc on a frame lock knife, but the overall blade shape and feel are top notch


This is coming from someone who doesn't really dig most of the super tactical stuff.

I'd love to see more.
 
I guess it's always a possibility.

I remember the relationship starting out by Mr Emerson having some patterns that he didn't think he would get to. So I'm sure there could be a few more. We'll have to wait and see!
 
I have the 0620 and 0630. I'd love to see 5" sharpened length versions of both.
 
I'd like to see the opposite. A 3" blade zt made mini cqc7, micro commander, etc would be sweet!

Your video of the 0620 has almost sold me on the knife , CM. However , another member claims that Elmax should be avoided as it looses an edge real fast. What are your thoughts on this steel , CM ?

The 560/562(?) 2nd gen had bad HT on the Elmax. This current (last) run is alright.

That's the one I ordered. I also have a 0630 in S35VN. Both are great.
 
I've got a couple of ZT's with elmax and they both hold an edge extremely well. They get used a lot around the ranch too so not babied.
 
As someone who's been on a serious Emerson kick (five purchased in the last two weeks, oye), I too would love the ZT Emersons if they were four inch blades or greater.
