Morgan Knife

I recently acquired a knife stamped Morgan on one side and 440 on the other side of the blade. The knife is well made with a stag handle, pinned hilt and pommel. I was told it could be made by Emil Morgan but can find no info on this knife maker. If anyone can help identify the knife and provide a little more info it would be greatly appreciated.
