Went for a walk this morning with the dogs and hoping for that perfect fall day. Unfortunately the colours were badly timed this year with the strange warmth this year with very light frosts. Trees were either bare, green leaves are mid-way through changing. Anyhow here are a few picks from my stroll.

The wild grapes are just about done, but still tasty...

One of my shots from last year - a wet and colourful year. Can you spot the Ranas climatans (the green frog)?

Admittedly recycled pick of my 119 & bush hat.

Wonderful pictures, thanks for posting them. :)

PS - I hate coming across stuff like that!!! really can ruin a moment.

That is some beautiful country you got there. I spotted the frog eyes and the top of its head.
I know how you feel when a loser dumps junk in the woods. I find that alot in the pines here in NJ. One time I even found a small sail boat in the pines. Once a year all the local 4 wheeling clubs get to together and have a pines clean up. The state even help by providing dumpsters to put the trash in.

Thanks for the comps guys. The pics are from Ojibway Park, Windsor Ont. I wish I could find the loser who dumped those tires. There were way too many for it to be an individual. This was some dead beat buisness!

They (OMNR) actually did a lot of cleaning up of the park this year. It was under threat of a superhighway, but thanks to our citizens group and a whole lot of work on my wife's part there were enough protests vented in the environmental assessment. Of course, that's not going to stop the super highway - the alternate route is actually closer to my house then the proposed one to go through the park. Well what can you do? The funny thing is, the highway is planned for projected road capacity needed in the next 30-50 years. Hey engineers wake up - we won't have any oil in 50 years - so why will we need car 12 lanes?

Have a great weekend all. I'm tipping my glass of John Bull towards ya's.
Watching the Shooter - Mark Wahlberg right now - great show!

Great pics bro, I have never seen crab apples as red as that before !!!

I know how you must have felt seeing those tyres, why do they do it ?
