Sorry if this is listed in the wrong section. I assume this is considered a custom knife. I am not well informed on this knife. I posted a thread about it recently and was told it's a straight blade kris knife. Maybe from the Philippines or Indonesia. Likely from the '30's - '50's. The wood part comes out and I don't think it's supposed to do that. A little wood glue would likely fix that. I looked up auction listings of sold knives similar to this one. Seems like they go for $200-$300. I'll sell it for $100. If you show me where it's worth less I'll consider it.

I'm flexible with payment options. If you use paypal, either friends/family or you cover the fee. I ship USPS priority 2-day with insurance. I'll cover that cost. I might trade for a Becker BK9 or an ESEE Junglas. I can ship international at your expense and risk. Insurance should cover any issues though.

That is a straight kris from mindanao.. the Indonesian kris is a lot thinner and not as wide through the blade width as the filipino versions.. Does the handle come off or is it the sheath you are talking about that comes off..
