I recently acquired a 51. After reviewing the jeweled titanium there appears to be a 1cm gap between the third cutout on the safe side? It looks to be an imperfection in tolerances. I called Benchmade Customer Service and they sated that this model has this gap as a design in that model. With fit and finish of my other Benchmades I was surprised at this answer. I guess I was expecting it to be equal/better than my 42. Not by a long shot! Have any of you experienced this same gap? More importantly, did you get the same answer?
