Been dealing with Morris Knives for a few years now. Here is a CLASSIC knife he made me with ivory micarta scales.
ALL his knives made from files... he has some YOU TUBE videos of him making knives... he is a regular machine when
it comes too turning knives out.
Will say this ... the ones I have sharpen real nice and hold a fine edge ... no problem.
he furnishes heavy well made sheaths with his knives as well.
real easy to talk too fella ... honest and helpful too.
my classic ...

I've bought a number of michael's knives - they are the perfect wedding gift for most gentlemen, especially his friction folders. I can't recommend him enough.

PROBLEM IS ... he is busier all the time resulting in longer waits for FIXES aka NEW KNIVES.
He changed his line up n added some new knives ... his friction folders are a big hit in the UK too.

Mikes a great guy! I like when he sends me an email/voice mail that starts with, "This is Mike, your knife maker..." My knife maker! How cool is that?

Michael is a good guy, I talked to him the one time he was at the Indy 1500 gun and knife show, picked up a Classic Hunter 8. His knives are very well made and very cool.

:thumbup: for Michael Morris. Bought a pair of knives from him a couple of years ago
He was actually one of the first members on this forum I had a chance to speak with via telephone. Sounded like a straight shooter who makes no nonsense knives from old files. And he does a damn FINE job at it too. The detail is impeccable

He knows what it takes to make a knife , meant to be used... and TAKEN CARE OF ... love his dissertation about Stainless in the one video.
been thinking about that MAK knife he makes ...

I feel sorry for the GUYS buyin' his knives and NOT USING THEM ...
His knives are meant to be used and rode hard ... and put away wet.
