Morseth age

I am trying to determine the age of this knife and whether it is a knife made by one of the Morseths or a.g. Russell. If anyone could offer any insight I would appreciate it.

The guard and tang cap is brass color.

the ag russell usually have a date stamped (2012,etc...) under the Morseth name
 
I think AG started numbering his Morseth knives in the 1990's.




Previous to that the knife had Morseth without at date stamp.






I don't know when AG stopped using the plain carbon laminated steel, but if your knife rusts and has a three layer laminated steel, it likely is 70's or 80's vintage. In my opinion, you have an AG Russell Morseth. Someone paid extra for the aluminum buttcap, that was an accessory, cost about $10.00 extra in the 1970's.
 
Thanks for the response. From what I've read I do believe it is AG Russell. I didn't know about the date starting in the 90's. I can't tell if it is laminated or not. I am just very glad to own one.

(I'm not an expert and I might be wrong here.) I thought the ones made by Morseth all had a different sheath. I also thought this style of blade and handle was originated by A.G. Russell.
