Mosaic Bolsters--help

I just got in some beautiful tri-color mosiac bolster material. I have never used this type of material before. How do I put it on without messing up the coloration? JB weld + pins? I could solder but wouldn't that change the colors of the bolsters. Or do I just need to solder and then re hear or re blue the bolsters. Thanks for any suggestions. Kev

Have you considered screw construction? Might work well with this particular set.

If this bolster material has pure nickle in it's makeup, then it is fairly easy to heat color after you are finished working it, but I too would recommend screw construction rather than soldering on the bolsters.
