Mosaic handle of African Blackwood and Sycamore wood. The handle came from a block with 70 pieces of wood. The wood is glued with Titebond 2 glue which is water proof and incredibly strong. The wood handle is as durable as any other piece of wood.
As far as I know, I am the only knifemaker to offer this kind of handle. The 31st edition of Knives 2011 pg. 93 has a picture of one of these handles.
The Blade is ATS-34 heat treated by Paul Bos to a RC 59-60.
The tang is tapered, and the blade has a distal taper.
The decorative pins are stainless steel.
The knife comes with a tooled top grain leather sheath.
Price $165.00 plus $10.00 USPS priority , insurance, and delivery confirmation to the USA. Others charged actual shipping cost.

Gotta support you NM guys. My daughter left for NM (Belen area) this last Wednesday with her BF. Sad, but well of age and her call. Best part......really nice guy, steady job, his family lives there and is squared away.

Still....my wife and I still feel the sting of the loss.

Knife arrived today........from "I'll take it" to finish took 2 days to get to me.

Beautiful knife and sheath. Very well made and incredible attention to detail. Had to have one since I first saw one here for sale........very glad that I did.

The transaction was quick, smooth and communication was perfect. No glitches whatsoever.
