Mosaic handle of African Blackwood and Sycamore wood. This mosaic handle is from a block of 70 pieces of wood. It is glued together with Titebond II glue which is waterproof, and the glue joint is stronger than the wood. The handle was stabilized with Resinol 90C. The wooden handle is as durable as any other piece of wood.
As far as I know, I am the only knifemaker to be making this type of handle.
The blade in a Loveless drop point style is AtS-34 steel heat treated by Paul Bos to a RC 59-60
The tang is tapered, the blade has a distal taper.
The guard is 416 stainless steel.
The decorative pins are stainless steel.
The knife comes with a 7-8 oz. tooled leather sheath.
Price, $230.00 plus $10.00 shipping USPS first class, insurance, delivery confirmation to the USA. Others actual cost.
Payment in Paypal or U.S. Postal money order for immediate shipment, or personal check with time to clear.
First "I'll take it" here gets it. Also, e-mail me at lewisknives@carlsbadnm.com
Thanks for looking.
