Mosaic Pin Makers

I am looking to have some custom mosaic pins made with a particular design, but am having no luck in getting responses from the guys I usually buy from. Anyone have some recommendations?
 
No it is not hard to do, but I am still looking for some 5 point stars for some pins and can not fing them anywhere. It is not my thread but thought I would just jump in. Sorry.
 
Because of the geometry of making up Mosaics, six pointed stars are easier ( they are readily available). A five pointed star would be small ( since the round rods would be larger).

Being from Texas and living in Texas and the five point star being the Texas star that it would look good on some knives. But they seem to be impossible to find.
 
Hmm would it be possible to make a die to form these. First make the star you want out of an old piece of lathe cutter, then drill an under sized hole in a piece of A2, D2 then heat that up to about 1900 and drive your star thru the hole and quench the piece. Anneal some brass rod and have at it. Maybe you would need to start by cutting the piece of die steel in half, drill and tap it so it bolts back together. Then drill your hole and do the heat, punch, quench and temper. That way you could put it on a oiled soft brass rod tighten the bolts and pull it down the rod. I would think you would want to displace the brass more than cut it. Maybe you would have to make 2 dies one to start the shape and another to finish or maybe carefully taper the first die. Copper might work better.

How bad to you want this Texas star???:D You might be able to corner the market for them

No offense guys, hell I'm from Texas too, and would love a 5 point star, but just kinda wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on good pin makers.
 
I made some mosaic pins a while back and found a 6 sided star at Hobby Lobby, don't remember if they had any five sided stars. But if you just want a Texas Star I also made a knife & used a concho in the handle.
