I will add Wow to the 9th! :) really beautiful. May I ask, can a knife this beautiful be used? I mean if somebody were crazy enough to use it, how would it do with taking an edge and retention?

Oh, certainly! Even the pretty ones that come off the mountain are users. The tang is thick and ends about 3/4" from the pommel end of the handle and the blade is good high carbon steel, thermal cycled and heat-treated just like any other high performance knife I make. Plus, I guarantee my work for as long as I'm kicking so it had better work because I HATE the thought of reworking something after it leaves the shop.

That is one of the most beautiful knives I've seen so far. To say "nice work" is a total understatement.
