I modified my Mossy Trail hunter slightly, and this is what I have come up with.

The steel is San Mai with Blue #2 (Aogami) core, and low carbon sides. This steel is well known to take a fine edge, and is VERY sharp.

The handle is beautiful Ancient Bog Oak from the Ukraine. There is subtle wood grain with flecks of silver throughout the handle. The wood was stabilized by WSSI.

SPECS:

OAL: 8-3/4″
Blade Length: 4-1/4″
Blade width: 1-1/4″ at the ricasso
Blade: 1/8" with a tapered tang. Full flat grind, this thing is a slicing machine!
Copper pins and lanyard tube
Comes with a hand stamped, pancake style leather sheath. This style of sheath is very comfortable to wear.

$260 USD shipped TYD in Conus and Canada. I will also ship to other areas, just email or PM me for a shipping quote. First to say I’ll take it, followed by a PM or email gets it. Posted on multiple sites, so I will go by time stamp. I take paypal, EMT, cash, or cheque.

Thanks for looking. Any comments or questions are welcomed.

WARRANTY:

I offer a lifetime common sense warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. If you have any issues with the knife feel free to contact me and we will get them sorted out.

Now... I'm not going to add a video of myself wearing this, because my beer gut is a little larger than Matt Gregory's. But here is a pic of me wearing the knife and sheath. Like I said above, this style of carry is very comfortable. It's also versatile, in that you can wear it strong side, cross draw weak side, or behind the back.

I don't know, your gut looks about the same as his. I'd say you're pretty even.

That bog oak, though. Wow.

Great looking set up! That oak is killer and the leather looks very well done. Heck of a deal!

OT: Is that a spidie native 5 in your pocket?

That is a really nice knife. More people need to try the blue steels. Those oak scales are sweet and that is quite a sheath set up. Nice job Man!
