I am rather fond of the BM 440 myself. In addition to its good looks I have found the modified wharncliff blade to be quite useful!

Sebenzas and Andre Deveillers.

And I think for a lower cost production folder, Benchmades 940s can not be beat

Put 50 people in a room, ask them that question and you'll get 50 different answers as to what's functional and what's attractive.

I like this one. A Koji Hara Atlanta Lady.
And the photo does NOT do the knife justice.

I take it that you are referring to factory knives. What looks good is very subjective. I really like the look of many of the Mcusta knives.

Garageboy , that Byrd was done by a member on here but I do not recall who , just saved the pics cause I liked it so much.... so whoever you are - your Byrd rocks ! :D

delkhouri and Rebeltf, what kind of Karambit is that?

The wrong pic. Not a Spyderco.

Precisely. People have varying tastes, and "functional folder" leaves a very broad array of selections.

I think this is a good thing for a thread. We get to see everyone's answers and decide after seeing knives that we may not have noticed before.

Calypso Jr ,or Manix (both Spyderco) both small and large would be a perfect folders to carry as your EDC?
