most comfortable fixed blade you know of?

The most comfortable knife (ergonomics) I' ve handled is the spyderco Moran.
Good user, great on skinning but nut a pry bar.
It's a different class as the doziers but excellent quality for the money

My Mad Dogs are the most comfortable knives I own. It's like a limousine for the hand. Indexes well during a fast grab, locks in the hand real good and with no burn over extended use. Next are my Doziers. But that's just my personal experience. Others might find the opposite.
 
cost is well over the $300 budget and the availability is not what we would like - still, forgetting those concerns, I have yet to find any handles which feel better and still exhibit grip control when wet, slick or bloody/ oily.

At $300 and under, the best handles I have run across - see if you can find either a Randall with a single finger grip or border patrol handle, or perhaps find a Micarta handled blackjack 1-5 or 1-7.
