Benchmade Bone Collector
My hands just don't want to put down the Emerson's.
There's a difference between fondling comfort and extended use comfort. The PM2 feels great in hand just holding it, but after heavy cutting, hot spots galore. The Large Sebenza 21 is so-so in hand in comparison to a Spyderco, but during heavy cutting, the 21 feels very good in the hand in comparison and very comfortable. One of the best overall feeling handles I've ever held is the Hinderer 3" XM-18. I've not had the opportunity to use it hard yet so no comment on "using" comfort.
Exactly, just like some people rave over the ergos of a SnG, but when I had a Lego SnG I wasn't that crazy about them. Not terrible, but not the best I've ever held. I have a CC model on the way though hoping I like it better. And this goes to show ergonomics are fairly personal as well. I can cut all day long with a PM2, but I loathe the scales on a Sebenza for extended cutting.
the emerson cqc 14 has some of the best feeling handles ive ever felt, the design gives you a smaller blade with a full size handle. the emerson cqc8 also has handles that feel superb.
