Strangely there was a more rational discussion of the same topic in the tactical forum this year.

I find that usually WSS is the more friendly/rational forum but for a while there we were in Bizarro reversal land!

I think you can learn a lot from threads like them. Someone might post a link to some other book or idea or tool or piece of gear to illustrate a point and THAT is why a lot of those threads turn out to be really interesting discussions. All of the rest is static and sometimes what I post is in the static category as well. I'm not perfect, I am a human being but out of chaos...sometimes beauty erupts.
