Most desired regular production knife?

For me its the BM705. Can't wait to get one of those. Especially the one I heard was at SHOT with D2 steel and anodized aluminum handles. That one sounds really nice. Now I just need to find a picture of it.:D

I wonder when Mayo is going to start saying "Buck Mayo" instead of "Sebenza" they look pretty equal on paper.

For me: one of the New Microtech Socom Elite MA's with the Claw Logo.

733-0? Whichever one has the winewood scales and carbon fiber bolsters.

Otherwise, the Spyderco Dodo would be the perfect pudgy little brother to my 921.

Probably a MT Socom Elite or a large BM axis folder. Kinda waiting to see what BM will offer in limited editions later this year.

It can only be the Cutter/Brend Model 2.

Yeah, I'd be all over one of those, if I could only get one with a dual thumbstud. Kind of a bummer they don't offer that.

Not being a smart alec, but I'd have to say that the most desirable straight production would be whichever underappreciated, and undersold, design was just discontinued because people "kept meaning to get one of those." (see here my disappointment at the discontinued status of the Massad Ayoob). And I don't think the Sebenza really counts as a straight production knife, not anyways in relation to companies like Buck, Spyderco, BM, and Camillus. Just a thought.

Sincerely,
Anthony

For me it's the limited edition Benchmade's due out this year. The 733-01, 733-02, 705-02 & 710-02. I already have limiteds of each one of those series, and I want more!! :D

CRK Yarborough
Busse Satin Jack
CRK/Corkum First Strike (already pre-ordered)
Spyderco Viele
Extrema Ratio Fulcrum

Plus, many, many more.

I wonder when Mayo is going to start saying "Buck Mayo" instead of "Sebenza" they look pretty equal on paper.

If all of the Buck/Mayo knives are like mine, sharpen a Sebenza, then sharpen a Buck/Mayo and you will very quickly see that there is a difference, even if it is the same steel. The difference is Paul Bos IMHO.

Currently my most desired knives are:
Spyderco-Viele PE
Spyderco-Michael Walker Almite/PE
Spyderco-Executive PE

I know that the latter two are difficult to find but I keep looking on eBay and the BF Exchange in hopes that I might run across one or both. I'll be looking for them and the Viele at a gun and knife show at the end of the month as well.

I am with you on the stainless Cricket. I have searched the internet and found one site(thegunsource.com) selling them already for around $49. But if you go to newgraham.com they have the best price I've been able to locate at $40.56 but they say "coming soon." I will order one as soon as they become available at newgraham.

My most desired/anticipated production knives are just about all the new ones being offered by Camillus...
the OVB southwest bowie
the dominator
the aftermath

gotta see and handle the BK-10 before I can make an opinion though. It seems a little redundant to what I already have. Am also considering the new yello-jacket canoe.

O.K, I'll say Sebenza. Great knife, great company that caters to us less fortunate individuals that happen to be left handed.:D   ;) :p

Okay, now that the Cutter/Brend has arrived............it would have to be the Camillus offerings for me also; Aftermath and Dominator. I'm real curious to see how the ROBO-assist works!
