Most durable kukri

i didnt mean a comparrison performance wise,i meant just a picture to see the size difference, handles as well as sheath size,i should've worded better...

That's strange, because I just bought a CAK at full price in part because "Break or bend it and get two free!" is still on the official website in the description:

http://www.himalayan-imports.com/khuk1.html

Like I said, I purchased the CAK in part because this is still part of the CAK's official advertising.

I'm sorry Gomipile.
The break it or bend it and get two free hasnt been in effect since the warranty change. It was removed from the front page at that time. Somehow we dropped the ball on getting that one removed as well.

A half inch of motor vehicle leaf spring steel (5160) that is differentially heat treated so the mass of the blade is left at spring temper is going to be extraordinarily hard to bend or break.

The old New England saying was "Don't strain. Get a bigger hammer." This is the "bigger hammer."

I do note that I have worked as an auto mechanic, carpenter, and in factory building demolition and never broke a single tool. I think there is a "feel" one can have - or not have - as to how much force to apply. I knew an old boy who bent 2" pinch bars regularly. He didn't get any more work done than the rest of us, but he was Hell on tools.

*Likes how he said it*

You are right, one does have that feeling,my dad on one hand has been a mechanic since he was 16,i dont think i've ever seen him brake any tools while working on a car,me on the other hand...2 inch pinch bars is some strength, what was the benders background?
