Just wondering your opinions of the most 'evil' (scariest) looking folding knife? Not necessarily because of size, because bigger will always be scarier than little. But because of the overall look of the knife.

I know there are lots of fixed-blades that look super scary, so let's limit it to folders.

These are ones the anti-knife crowd would wet their pants in terror over.

I'd have to go with the Byrd Crossbill with partial serration and steel handle. Looks like it wants to leap from your pocket and rip flesh.:eek:

Spyderco Civilian - I always loved the look of it, but I'd call it more "wicked" than "evil"; looks like it would jump up and bite you if you got close enough.

thx - cpr

That's the first one I thought of too. Just not sheeple friendly.

And how about a REKAT pocket hobbit - the back of the thing is serrated.

That's just it. The tacti-cool folders that anti-knife people find scary are a joke to people "into" knives.

Something like a black or camo-coated, tanto pointed, partially serrated, liner locking, recurved, saw backed, folder with a glass breaker....That's my idea of a joke of a folding knife, yet others find that to be scary/evil looking.

To me, the scariest folding knife I ever saw was a retractable box-cutter (wielded by a crackhead trying to cut me) It was very scary looking at the time.

Yep, first one that came to mind for me, too.

It was my first thought too. Second is DR. Lectors Harpy! Kevin :D

Spyderco Civilian, no doubt about it. And oddly, while the serrations add to its wicked look, the plain edge model looks just as wicked.

This Strider custom is about as scary-looking as it gets before you get into Klingon knives and stuff.

nice one. why is it hawkbills always look so nasty?

Maybe!! It's because they are sickle shaped and that subconciously reminds us of death!

glass breakers are very useful, particularly for SAR, fire, Police, EMT, police tactical teams etc. Hardly a joke.

It's threads like this (and behaviour/talk like this) which give sheeple ammunition to attack us and take away our rights.

As for scary looking - you need BLOOD GROOVES!

Kind regards,

Jos

Actually, I'd argue that the most scary and evil looking folding knife is whatever O.J. Simpson happens to be carrying.
