Most Expensive Knife... That you actually use?

Benchmade 520 Presideo. Other than a hand made scandy hunting knife i got in Sweeden it's my most expensive knife.

What shotgun is that? Mossberg 500? Or is it a Maverick 88?

$259 bark river 2012 custom skinner- great customer service and awesome lifetime warranty means I don't have to worry.

The most expensive knife I have is my Spyderco Manix2 in M4 with tan g10. I use it whenever I don't use my Para2. If I spend a lot of money on a knife, it doesn't make sense to me not to use it. Nothing against guys with safes full of rare custom knives. Those guys help to preserve the history of this community. But my personal philosophy is if I spend money on it, I'm gonna use it.

Plus one on what razor said. I've had my large Insingo for over a year now. Great knife.

My PM2s. They are both the most expensive knives I use and the most expensive knives I own. I was late to the game getting into PM2s because prior to them my personal upper limit budget-wise on knife purchases was about $50... but once I got a PM2 in my hand I knew I would have to increase my limit! :) I probably will never own a Sebenza or Hinderer or Stryder, etc... but if ever did buy one I would use it. To me, no sense having an knife and not using it. If a knife is too nice or too expensive to use, then I won't buy it (or if I did buy it I would just end up selling it... I get my enjoyment from carrying/using them not from making paperweights out of them).

Anyway, here's my PM2s... looking for a DLC-blade w/ black scales to complete the basic PM2 set. :)

That is exactly how I felt when I got my first knife (a Kershaw Leek G10/s30v) for 5 dollars on ebay. At the time, I never thought I would spend more than 25 dollars on a knife, so using a 100 dollar knife was weird to me, but I didn't mind since I only spent 5 dollars on it.

The most expensive I currently use is a HEST 2.0

I carry what I buy. I carried a Benchmade AFCK (most expensive for me) for nearly 20 years, but recently I have been carrying a few of the high value (cheap) knives that are now available like the Ontario Rat1, Ontario Utilitac II, Kershaw Blitz/Nerve, and the Kershaw Chill. They where all equally nice knives and they all cut what I asked of them. I have seen no difference for the money. That said, I feel I got my monies worth out of that high $ (for me) AFCK.

Strider SMF, CRK Insingo, Umnumzaan, Kershaw Tilt and ZT0551.
