Just curious what the most expensive knives you've ever/never used. Have to be knives you own/owned though or they don't count.

My most expensive user is my Busse FFBM.

My most expensive safe queen is my Chris Reeve Green Beret.

I would like to suggest that without prices, this thread loses a little of its value. :D

Ed Fowler Pronghorn - excellent skinning and field knife

($1450 back in 2003)

Fowler's is spendy but it's worth every penny

The Strider TAD swedge digicam SMF, or AR with tritium were the most expensive ones. Maybe the Large web site sebenza? Nah, probably the XM-18. Or Microtech MTX? Sheesh I don't remember. :P All gone now, so it doesn't really matter I guess.

I believe my very rare (as only 2 were EVER made) 3 inch all titanium XM-18 is my most expensive knife that I use.

Had several "non-user" custom pieces which I eventually eBayed....I like using all my blades, but find it hard to justify hacking things up with a $650 folder :-) Among them were a Ralph Dewey Harris folding Bowie with nicely engraved nickel-silver bolsters and purple heartwood scales (paid $650), a Tommy Lee 9-inch Damascus Tanto with cocobolo scales & sheath cut from a single piece of wood (paid [I think] $750), and a Mel Pardue folding stiletto with gorgeous snakewood scales (paid $700). Still own & use a couple of custom blades....a Phill Hartsfield high-grind Kozuka that`s been my companion for over 20 years (paid $225, current price $550), and a Ken Largin balisong with brass & rosewood handles (for havin` fun)....forget the price, had it a *long* time....

That would be my Battle Rat (~250$), and if I had a FBM, it would definitely be my user, too.

My most expensive knife is the Spyderco Rock Salt, and I love to use it.

I've been considering a Umnumzaan or Strider, but it's hard to justify that kind of purchase when your current EDC is soo good (S90V Military).

Benchmade 615...

Got to say my Atwood Tiger Arc, here she is in a old EDC picture from back in 06.
