Both are on me every day. And I always carry a Scrap Yard knife on my belt every morning. It varys day to day with those. I have every model made so far.

Peace.

Just curious what the most expensive knives you've ever/never used. Have to be knives you own/owned though or they don't count.
A Sebenza.

Yep, I paid full retail for it too.
After using it awhile I decided that I really didn't love it, and sold it for less than I paid for it.
It was during that time that I decided that no knife is worth $400.00 dollars to me.
These days $150.00 is the most I'll pay for a knife.

My latest is my Small Classic Micarta Sebe $400.00 shipped from NGK. I've had other Sebe's but I was afraid to carry to work. With this one I am making a point to carry and use it at work...it's going to earn it's keep. I've been carrying it daily since it arrived.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way :o

for me it was $230 for a piece of junk the SOG commemorative bowie.

Usually i stay between $100 & $200

Emerson CQC-12.
It's working really nicely so far(starting to get the scratches which show character:)).

Ernest Emerson Custom CQC7
Titanium / Micarta grips

i know....no prices.
bought this knife many years ago in Vegas / shotshow for 650 $
out of the hand of Ernest himself.
gave it to my buddy in germany for same price.
should have never ever sold it.

I once was at a cutlery in Colorado, they make very nice custom knives. They were selling them for $2000 or something ridiculous . I don't own one, obviously, the one i handled was made of illegal whale bone, its called the "verticoli". No actually it was made of Ivory and something else, I can't remember.

Easily my most expensive at almost $3k is this Walter Brend Model 2 with 8.5" D2 blade.

Most expensive user is my busse combat CE hell razor, $380 plus another $300 in the sheath and kit I put in it(surefire E2L, case hunter trapper etc.).
Its my perfect set up, and I am not afraid to abuse it as I have put serveral dents in the edge.
Great knife.

Hinderer XM-18 paid $500.00 for it, used it, traded it for $500.00 value. Now I could kick myself since it had a hellfire blade and would be worth over $1000.00 now!

I'd have to say my Ken Onion Forum StudLock Bump. But there're few not so far behind.

my current edc is a emerson custom CQC13 worth ~$1200, i have carried i dont know how many custom folders in the $400 to $700 range but the '13 is my current favorite.

My wife thinks that you can get a Dietmar Kressler stag Gents Knife for $50. The NMFBM LE... she can't tell it from the FBM LE, just can't have them both out at the same time!!!

Ha! Good to know I'm not the only one who plays this trick.

Her: Is that another new knife?
Me: No, this is the same one I was using yesterday, remember?
Her: Hmmm....okay.

Another favorite:

Me: A knife is going to be coming in the mail, but don't worry, I didn't buy it. This one is a PASSAROUND.
Her: Whatever....

:p
