whats the knife that comes to mind when you hear the name "Busse". i think its the battle mistress. what do you guys say.

When I think busse, I think Battle Mistress.

As for specific famous Busse knives, there are a few, IIRC...

1. The "Exploding Heart" a Steel Heart ergo seen in an episode of CSI Las Vegas. (S05E02-"Down The Drain")
2. The first Battle Mistress that had a write up in American Survival Guide.
3. The "Wounded Badger", a SHBA that deflected a bullet while being worn by its owner!

Hey leave grandma out of this! I'd say the Steel Heart of some type, Then again the early BM's are hard to count out too.
But i would think the BM is the knife most guys just have to have. :thumbup:

Battle Mistress when I first started looking a Busse knives....but now the Classic,Iconic Busse knife is a Steel Heart to me!

Like many I came across Busse because of search engine's throwing up the Battle Mistress when looking for a tough knife .... for me it is the BattleMistress .... lol .... I remember thinking "how expensive" they were and wondering whether I could afford ONE ... no one told me they were "addictive" ....
