Watching the Challenger shuttle in elementary school. 9/11/01 on the tv screens at Walmart when I worked there. Desert Storm precision bomb drops at night before school. Pope Benedict being chosen on a sm tv at work, several of us crowded around.

Watching tht poor truck driver get pulled out the cab and hit in the head with a brick by laughing maniacs onm TV in the wake of the LA trail for Rodney King. made my mind up right there I would never be unarmed again.

I have seen several other things that I will remember always, but that wins the prize.
