What knife means the most to you? Why?

This is my St. Michael the Archangel engraved Spartan Harsey.

Most meaningful because it reminds me that we all have a guardian angel; to ask their help avoiding the evil one.

Hoping to acquire one of these.

That would probably be my Benchmade Jared Oeser Tengu Flipper LE, with the completion date on my 60th Birthday. Damasteel and white and black marbled CF handles. Mirror finish edge, great feeling action, decent shark skin sheath.

I own knives that are more valuable, but this one lets me celebrate a milestone I wasn't sure I would see, despite the doctors telling me 23 years ago that I had 5 years to live.

Most meaningful would probably be this Camillus pilot's survival knife that I picked up in DaNang in 1967. I traded something (I forget what) to some desk jockey who had absolutely no need for it.
Mines not too far off.

My dad traded something for a Ka Bar (USN Mk 2 really) while he was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War. He kept that knife tucked under the driver seat of his car basically forever. The car was broken into and the knife was stolen. I bought him a replacement to use when he did reserve duty with the Marines, but he never used it because of the leather sheath. I found a comparable USN Mk 2 in a fiber scabbard at a surplus place in Monterey and sent it to him. He used it for his last 2 or 3 '2 weeks a year'. He passed away many years ago, and that "Ka Bar" is the only knife I keep in my safe.

Yes, we all have a guardian angel. I call my granddaddy. The knife on the right was his knife that I gave him as a Christmas present in 1972. He carried and used it daily until he took it out of his pocket the night of July 7, 1993. This one will stay with me until I leave this rock. You can tell the use and sharpening when compared to a lightly used one.

I have a small Sebenza 21 that was the only keepsake I had on me to take photos with of my stillborn son last year. It rides in a leather pocket slip everyday, and you'd have to kill me to take that knife off me.
My condolences sir.

My father's late 70's buck 110. Has plenty of original wear and tear. Need to send it in for a spa service just haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet.
That knife has earned the character it carries. A spa day would erase that. I could not bring myself to send it in
